The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are the trending smartphones available in the market. But they have their own share of problems. After the devastating end of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the company has taken various measures to make up for that loss. Also, Galaxy S8 series was launched keeping this concern in mind. Soon after the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have started its global release, some users started complaining about the issues experienced by the users.
The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have appealing look with near bezel-less screen, good display and solid metal and glass body.
The common issues faced by users and here’s how to fix it:
The first issue reported was the presence of reddish tints on the display of Samsung Galaxy S8. Also, the company said that it’s not a big issue and can be resolved by a simple software update.
To fix this issue, users just have to wait for the update to reach their device. Temporarily, users can just tap color settings. Hence this is not a critical issue.
The second issue that was reported was the Wi-Fi connectivity issues. The Wi-Fi networks used to disconnect and reconnect automatically.
To fix this issue, Samsung will release an update that will demonstrate how the smartphone connects to the wireless networks. The users on their end can reboot their device by click on Settings, then click on Backup and then Reset Network Settings.
The third issue reported was the wireless charging. The wireless charging feature does not work with charging pads. Some users claim that wireless charging does not work properly even after rebooting the device. Also, sometimes the charging is halted without any reason.
The company says that wireless charging issue occurs with old versions of charging pads that are not compatible with the smartphone. The possible fix to this issue is that users should replace their old wireless charging pads with the new one.
The fourth issue is related to the aspect ratio that creates issues for certain apps. Samsung has opted for 18.5:9 aspect ratio for its new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. But this aspect ratio does not work with certain apps which are designed for 16:9 aspect ratio. Hence the display does not look good.
To fix this issue user can go to Settings then click Display option and click on full-screen apps option.
The fifth issue reported was related to the speaker. Some Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus users have reported speaker issues after smartphone becomes wet. To fix this issue users just need to wait until the moisture dries up.
Some other issues were freezing of Galaxy S8 apps and home buttons and some keys that become unresponsive. To fix this issue, a soft reset will work.
