Hulu, the American subscription video on demand service TV streaming service will now provide more than 50 channels along with the DVR cloud space just at $40 per month. The interested users can now signup for $40 on a monthly basis that includes the benefits of $7.99 streaming service along with live streaming of more than 50 channels.
Hulu is providing such services at low cost so as to compete with its rivals like AT&T’s DirectTV Now, Sony’s PlayStation Vue that provide favorite content, live and on-demand content in one place.
Currently, Hulu has all the broadcast networks like ABC, Fox, CBS and NBC along with various entertainment, sports and news channel. The new Hulu with Live TV app is now available in Beta version that has more than 50 channels and offers 50 hours of cloud DVR space along with existing streaming service. Hulu has joined hands with Scripps Network to provide channels like HGTV, Travel Channel, Food Network along with other networks like TNT, A&E, FX, USA, Syfy, TBS, and Viceland. Users can view all these channels via smartphone or Apple TV, Chromecast and Xbox. Hulu is offering the TV programmers the pay TV service. However, HBO is not provided even if the user is ready to spend extra amount.
The company’s Live TV includes $40 price along with $7.99 streaming features so that users will have access to on-demand shows in $40 and also live TV. In one subscription users will get 50 hours of cloud DVR storage, six separate viewers profile and two simultaneous streams. As Hulu has the joint venture with 21st Century Fox, Disney, Time Warner, and Comcast, all the channels are included in new live TV service.
