This feature is very easy to use and the users with the latest Canary build of Chrome can try out this feature. By default, this feature is in deactivated form and the users need to activate it.
In order to use this feature, users just need to tap the security status which is present at the left side of the website address. Here users can find an option to mute the sites under details and permissions tab. Until the user clicks on deactivate button, the browser will mute all the auto-playing videos on the website.
For every website, the users need to activate the mute option and once the sound is deactivated then it will remain the same till the user reactivates it. The latest feature which will roll out to the Google Chrome users will prove most beneficial. The feature which can deactivate or mute the sounds for certain websites will have many applications. One more interesting feature called ad blocker will be introduced to Google Chrome so that users do not need to install any third party or separate ad blocker.
