According to the recent news, OnePlus 6 will have an exact design as that of iPhone X. Asian-based Android device maker, OnePlus reveals its next smartphone that will come with the all-screen-with-notch design.
Along with OnePlus, several other tech companies have rolled out clone designs of iPhone X. For example, Oppo, one of the China-based competitor revealed Oppo R15 having similar features of iPhone X.
We still wonder what’s so distinct about Apple’s trending smartphone. Well, there are several factors that made this smartphone so trending and famed one. OnePlus 6 will resemble with iPhone X but it will also take some of the features of Oppo R15.
It’s not the first time where OnePlus has copied Apple. Beforehand, OnePlus released OnePlus 5 having many similar features of iPhone 7 and some of Oppo R11. CEO of Oppo once owned OnePlus. When taken a closer look, Oppo R15 doesn’t look more similar to iPhone X.
Oppo R15 eliminates four cameras and the vertical camera isn’t located vertically that appears to be vertical in iPhone X. Following are some of the specifications revealed about Oppo R15:
- 6.28-inch OLED display size having 19:9 aspect ratio
- Snapdragon 660 processor that can be replaced with Helio P60
- RAM size of 6GB
- MicroSD support along with 128GB of specs
- Two rear cameras of 16 MP and 5 MP
- Front camera of 20 MP
- Rear-facing fingerprint sensor
- Headphone jack
- Battery size of 3,450 mAh with VOOC charging technology
- ColorOS 5.0 along with Android 8.1 Oreo
The given features are for glass model of the smartphone. Oppo R15 comes in the ceramic version as well where the cost is a bit high due to the improved processor of Snapdragon 660 processor, 3,400 mAh battery life and the additional feature of Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
An initial price of the device will be $474 which can go up to $552 in future. The smartphone will be released in China only while other parts of the world will have to wait. In case they get to see it in their country they will get Snapdragon 845 version. Well, it will be called as OnePlus 6 rather than Oppo R15.
